While Austin Royale puts the last touches on his upcoming project PLAN|A, the NC artist and producer releases “Problems” following the visual release in January for “White Toes Freestyle”. The recently released track takes on a hardcore flow and features fellow Carolina native J.K The Reaper, LA’s Goon Des Garcons, and production from Charlotte’s Jimmy Kelso as well as Royale himself. The song embodies an aggressive aim on artist opposition and is likely to create a mosh pit on any grounds with no warnings or guarantees of safety . Considering the consistency that Austin’s been displaying, it’s exciting to see what AU$X. is planning to execute for PLAN|A . For now, tune into his latest delivery of “Problems” below and stream the track here:

Last year was a great year for Durham based based Young Bull. From releasing songs like “City Girl” to performing on a range of stages, grossing over 2 million streams over the course of their artistry, and being co-signed by Grammy Nominated rapper Rapsody, the band is far from your average. Recently lead vocalist of the group Mique and the Young Bull collective banded together to write and perform a sultry track called Voodoo. Between the lyrics and the instrumentation by the group, it’s easy to keep it on repeat . In all honesty , there’s never been a record entitled Voodoo (from the catalogs of D’angelo to The Internet’s Patrick Paige II ) that didn’t serve right and Young Bull doesn’t fail to continue that perception. In addition to this being a great record, we hope this is a sign that more content and/or a project is in store for this year. For now, peep the soulful record (produced by Young Bull’s Solomon Fox) from the forward thinking troupe below or stream the track via any music platform here and let us know what you think!

Rising artist Madison Jay is not your ordinary hip hop artist. The Raleigh native has been on the music scene since 2009 and has been expanding his sound amongst underground radio and even performed at Hopscotch Music Festival back in 2014 who was headlined by the legendary De La Soul. In 2016, Madison Jay released his debut album Return Of The Gap and has been dropping a series of visuals to accompany his intro into the masses since. One of his latest visuals from his debut that we cant stop watching is his video for “Line Em Up” (produced by Brassious Monk + visually directed by Head Graphix). Between the videos and his overall lyrical content, there’s no doubt that Madison Jay will continue to fuse quality with bringing people to the floor. For now, peep his latest visual below and stay tune for what’s next from this artist on the rise.

Last spring, rapper and Durham native Austin Royale graced us with a gritty freestyle called “White Toes Freestyle” and luckily for us, he’s back to showcase the visual for the standout track. The standout record (produced by Brio) was recently captured psychedelically by Perry and from the fangs to the unexpected twisted fantasy, this visual definitely doesn’t take any misses.
Between the visual and the context of what Austin plans to release throughout the rest of the year, i think it’s safe to say that we’re ready to see what’s in store for Royale’s PLAN | A debut. For now, peep the artist on the rise’s latest video below, give us your thoughts, and stay tune

Last year, Charlotte rapper and producer Brio dropped tracks like “Guru”, produced “White Toes Freestyle” for Austin Royale, and performed alongside Awful Records’ Ethereal for the All Organic Series. After putting a lot of work into last year, the creative is back to kickstart the new year with No Bad Days. Brio dropped his “No Bad Days” track on the first day of the year and recently even dropped the visual for it in addition to the release. The Terry Suave directed visual captures the essence of Brio’s consistent melody and it’s definitely a great introduction into the year for the creative. For now, enjoy the visual below and stay tune for more.

Last time we caught up with VA’s Alexander Mack, he had just released his track “Small Time” in addition to expressing that he would be dropping a project in 2019. Now that we’re in the new year, Alexander isn’t wasting any time with releasing his latest content. Over the weekend, Alexander dropped his visual for his track “Brand New”. The video (shot and edited by Richie Bozek) surrounds its theme around the classic Brady Brunch sitcom while Mack executes his consistent and notable jazz-rap sound. If our assumptions are right, this will definitely be a track that will be featured on Mack’s debut project that will be dropping this year. For now, peep the visual from this artist on the rise below and stay tune for what’s next.

Back in 2015, we had the pleasure of being exposed to rising rapper Josh? who had released his project The Pre Tape. The release had featured four tracks and consisted of the rapper flowing over production ranging from 9th Wonder and Pete Rock to Da Beatminerz and Ski Beats that ultimately made us do a double-take at the New Jersey native’s wordplay.
After three years of releasing the well received project, Josh? is back with new music and new perspective. Recently the rapper dropped a track called “Show Me Love” and it’s simply, real. The song takes a raw direction over BADBADNOTGOOD‘s “Tone’s Rap”, doesn’t fall short of expression, and it’s safe to say that his rise will definitely be worthy of watch. For now, peep this artist on the rise’s latest track below and let us know what you think.
